Curriculum Development for Inclusivity: As part of our commitment to fostering an inclusive community and evolving our culture, we are dedicated to creating a curriculum that incorporates diversity-related content. This curriculum aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various dimensions of diversity.
Integration of Diversity and Inclusion in Research: Our research endeavors will reflect our dedication to diversity and inclusion. We aspire to infuse these principles into our research projects, contributing to a broader understanding of diverse perspectives and experiences.
Enhancing Diversity in Faculty, Staff, and Student Body: To create a genuinely inclusive environment, we are focused on recruiting and retaining a more diverse faculty, staff, and student body. Our goal is to ensure that our community at least mirrors the demographic diversity of our surrounding Omaha community.
Embracing Intersectionality: Beyond numerical representation, our efforts encompass recognizing and celebrating intersectionality. This involves acknowledging the interconnectedness of various aspects of identity, such as race, gender, social class, religion, and more.

At Creighton University, we recognize sustainability as a strategy to fulfill our moral responsibility to care for creation. We follow the United Nation's definition of meeting the needs and aspirations of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to do the same (Our Common Future, 1987). Guided by our Jesuit, Catholic values and traditions, we pursue sustainability with a multi-dimensional approach of environmental, social, and economic perspectives.
