Facilities Management has an Energy Management team, which utilizes meters for electricity, steam and chilled water across campus. This group is responsible for the Building Management Systems, as well as benchmarking and optimization. SmartStructure, Trane, Honeywell, and Johnson Controls are the building management systems utilized across campus. BMS is integrated with 25Live our building occupation and reservation software to alter HVAC based on occupancy and anticipated occupancy. There is a Utilities and Energy Management Master Plan that is being operationalized. This Plan is not available online.
