A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Every new employee (faculty, staff, administrator) is supposed to attend an HR orientation. Sustainability gets a 15 minute slot at each of the orientations.

The following topics are covered:
* Overarching vision and mission of the Office of Sustainability Programs and where we are situated in the university structure (part of GEO)
* What sustainability is --- United Nations Brundtland Report, UN Sustainable Development Goals
* Why we care about sustainability --- Integral to Creighton's Catholic, Jesuit Identity and the idea that caring for creation is not a new or radical idea; share examples including Genesis I, Genesis 2, Laudato Si, Universal Apostolic Preferences
* How we are addressing this/Resources for Change --- 2050 climate neutrality goal; STARS tracking; individual resources & opportunities such as Sustainability Listserv, @GreenCreighton social media, forums, FOSF/Campus Sustainability Month, Earth Month, Guides, recycling, volunteering, Environmental Justice Community Orientation, etc.
