Energy Reduction Challenge Spring 2022
A brief description of the campaign:
One of Creighton Environmental Club, the Green Jays applied and was awarded funding to create a monitoring webpage to track dorms energy usage for a specified number of weeks.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Using a dashboard, students could see the energy being used by each resident hall.
During the competition, students were conscientious about their energy usage. After the two-week competition, as a whole the resident halls reduced their energy usage by 8 megawatts.

Move- Out Week
A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Student lead Move Out programs organized volunteers over a week to collect unwanted dorm furniture to donate to a local nonprofit organization that gives aid to refugees.

The success was measured by number of volunteers involved and truckloads of furniture that will help local families that are displace for many reasonsl.
