Green Jays is a student environmental coalition and serves as the student arm of campus sustainability. The group focuses on different topics each year, such as straw/plastic bag bans, bottled water reduction, green meeting certifications, and carbon divestment. The Creighton Student Union and the Student Leadership and Involvement Center recognize them.
The Environmental Science Club is an organization that helps students interested in environmental science and explore potential career opportunities while promoting environmental education and sustainable practices engagingly both on Creighton’s campus and within the broader Omaha community.
Planetary Health Report Card is a group of medical students who assess and report on campus sustainability pertaining to health and the health sciences.

The Ignatian Garden was founded in 2010 as a place where students, faculty, and staff could grow produce for their own use or for the benefit of others. Gardeners are asked to adhere to the principles of organic gardening for the well-being of the gardeners, community, and environment. There is currently a waiting-list to have a plot in the garden.
The university partners with Wenninghoff Farms to offer a CSA dropoff for any interested faculty, staff, or students.

The Office of Sustainability Programs hosts Sustainability Forums during the fall and spring semesters. The Sustainability Forums cover a wide range of topics related to sustainability and the environment. Typically, Sustainability Forums occur over the lunch hour in a centralized area on campus. All are welcome—students, faculty, and staff.
