Name of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Peak Energy Demand Reduction program

A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged (2nd campaign):

During the campaign, Creighton Facilities deployed their Peak Energy Day program
on two days: Wednesday 9/2 and Friday 9/4. The Peak Energy Day
program consisted of:
• Facilities Alert email to all Creighton students, faculty and staff
• Notice in Creighton Today
• “Peak Energy Day” digital signage across campus from 8/21 to 9/7
• Door signs at Harper and Skutt Student Center encouraging users to
open the door manually.
• Social media engagement on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Building specific action lists for the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic
Center/D.J. Sokol Arena and the Skutt Student Center.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):

Based on the available data, the Peak Energy Day program deployment helps keep the peak lower than days when Creighton Facilities does not activate the Peak Energy Day
program and reduces the peak even during a hotter month than a year ago.
The financial savings of over $10,000 is likely conservative.
