Home to one of the one of the oldest LGBTQ+ centers in the US, Cornell is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming campus environment for all. Cornell University’s official non-discrimination policy includes the protection of "sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression." Cornell University is also a member of the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals. Cornell's LGBT Resource Center runs programming throughout the year for the LGBTQQIA community including First Year Queer Connections, Safer People: Safer Places Network, and LGBTQ Mentorship Program. Cornell also offers a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Studies undergraduate minor and graduate minor.
