The April 2013 RFP for Janitorial Supplies included Environmental and Supplier Diversity Profiles with questions on environmental policy, production practices, certifications, partnerships, transportation, Tier I and II diversity programs. The stated goal was "to increase our acquisition of environmentally preferable products and services to the extent feasible".
