A brief description of the trayless dining program:

In order to reduce food waste and electrical use, and to save thousands of gallons of water each month, Cornell Dining introduced trayless dining in 2008. Currently nine of the ten All You Care to Eat dining rooms are trayless. Trayless dining has also been implemented at two of the larger retail locations.
