In 2010, the Cornell New Student Reading Project focused on contemporary issues of the environmental destruction, human-nature interactions, artificial intelligence, and the future of humanity, through the reading of Phillip K. Dicks dystopian novel, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep". One of several lectures offered to freshman was titled "Biodiversity, Ecocomplexity, and the Human Experience" and can be viewed here http://www.cornell.edu/video/?videoID=830
