A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The core of the campus is approximately 167 acres of traditional landscape and developed areas on either side of a 4-lane state route. The campus also includes an additional 583 acres preserved for research, teaching and recreation. All 750 acres of college property are considered the Connecticut College Arboretum and have been included in the institutional boundary for the purposes of this report.
