Two residence halls (Morrison and Hamilton) were renovated to convert single rooms into doubles. The first floor of Fanning Hall was renovated as the new home for the Hale Center for Career Development. None of these projects were certified under a green building system, but they were designed and constructed in accordance with our college Sustainable Building Policy.

The attached policy is the current version adopted in May 2020, but the requirements are similar to what was in force during these construction projects.

Connecticut College has 3 LEED certified buildings/spaces that were completed outside of the reporting period for this credit. They are: New London Hall Science Center (LEED NC Gold 2013), Fitness Center (LEED NC Silver, 2012), and Bill Hall Classroom (LEED CI Silver, 2011).
