A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
The Office of Sustainability conducted a survey of research by sending targeted letters to department heads listing their researchers that we had included in past STARS reporting and asking for any new researchers who would fit the criteria. Each letter described the College's definition of sustainability and included both the AASHE definition of sustainability research as well as the UN Sustainability Goals. We received responses from 24 of 31 departments. Follow up to specific faculty members was done as needed. Full and continuing part-time faculty with research responsibilities (i.e. Assistant, Associate or Full Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor) were included in the total count of FTE.
