A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:

A survey was conducted in February 2018 to determine the commuting methods of faculty and staff. The survey questions are in the attached document. The survey was administered by the Office of Institutional Research and was sent out to all faculty and staff. A reminder email was then sent to those who had not yet completed the survey.
