Data was supplied by the Office of Institutional Research. Data on the employees and other individuals residing on campus was supplied by the College Housing Supervisor. The IPEDS FTE calculation for the 12-month Enrollment Survey is based on credit hours. The FTE figures equal the total number of undergraduate credit hours for the academic year divided by 30 (or 24 for graduate students, if there are any). Our AY 2016-17 FTE (1995) exceeded headcount (1928) because undergraduate students, on average, took more than 30 credit hours.
