Sustainability Advisory Committee (SAC): The SAC is chaired by the VP Services and Sustainability and includes 4 other high-level university representatives, 1 representative from the Office of Sustainability, 1 faculty member, and 1 student representative. The aim of the committee is to conduct strategic planning and develop recommendations with respect to policy and plans, including resource allocations and reporting.
Sustainability Action Plan Committee (SAPC): The SAPC is chaired by the Office of Sustainability and includes 29 representatives (10 senior administrative representatives, 5 faculty representatives, 1 Indigenous Directions Leadership Countil representative, 8 student representatives, and 4 staff representatives. The aim of the committee is to establish consistent oversight and collaboration on the Sustainability Action Plan and its related programs and projects.

Office of Sustainability: The Office of Sustainability at Concordia University was officially created as a separate entity within the Office of Environmental Health & Safety in Spring 2019. It currently includes 6 full-time employees (35 hrs/ week) and 1 part-time employee (30 hrs/ week) dedicated to sustainability.

Office of Sustainability: The Office of Sustainability is committed to engaging students, staff, and faculty, as well as the surrounding community, in achieving our sustainability commitments. Our purpose is to transform Concordia into an institution defined by ecological vitality, social equity, and economic integrity, by driving tangible change and fostering a thriving campus community of sustainability leaders. By integrating sustainability at every level of the institution, we aim to hold ourselves accountable to current and future generations at the campus, local, and global scale.
Examples of work that coordinates multiple campus constituencies include: (a) coordination support for the various actors advancing the Sustainability Action Plan (focussing on Sustainable Food Systems, Zero Waste, Climate Action, Sustainability in Research, and Sustainability in Curriculum); and (b) coordination support for campus-side sustainability assessments like STARS.
