Concordia University partnered with La Tablees des Chefs, an organization that collects leftovers for local charities. From January 2023-Dec. 31 2023, 241 kg of food was donated from events organized by Hospitality Concordia. |

Kitchen workers use a system called Leanpath to track the weight of kitchen food waste produced from trimming, spoilage, overproduction, quality requirements or expiry dates. They make monthly waste reduction goals and track progress.
