All operational characteristics are for the 2018-2019 academic year with the exception of the endowment size that is from April 30th, 2020. This is to be consistent with other operation credits such as the greenhouse gas emission inventory and building energy efficiency. Gross floor area of building space was calculated from a 2021 report provided by the Strategic Planning and Development branch of Facilities Management at Concordia. Buildings that are not owned by Concordia, were acquired or constructed after the 2018-2019 academic year were subtracted from the 2021 total gross floor area of building space.

Laboratory, healthcare and energy intensive space was calculated from the same report. Healthcare space includes spaces used by Health Services such as the infirmary. Floor area from buildings that are not owned by Concordia, were acquired or constructed after 2018-2019 were subtracted from the 2021 values. Energy intensive space includes mechanical and electrical rooms, main server rooms, restaurants and food preparation spaces.
