Please note that assured reports are still subject to review by AASHE staff prior to publication, which may require additional revisions. AASHE reserves the right to withhold points for this credit if it is determined that the assurance process was clearly unsuccessful in identifying and resolving inconsistencies or errors (e.g., when AASHE staff identify a significant number of issues that were either not mentioned in the completed review template or not resolved successfully).
Did the assurance process include internal review, an external audit, or both?:

A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
Concordia had McGill review its application in May 2021 as the original deadline for Concordia's STARS submission had been June 2021. The Academic, Engagement, Planning and Administration and Innovation credits were reviewed at this time. Concordia's STARS deadline was extended until December 2021 to be able to include sustainability initiatives/projects planned for Fall 2021 and allow stakeholders for certain Operations credits more time to collect data.
The feedback provided in the first round of review was incorporated into Concordia's STARS application. A second round of review for AC, EN, PA and IN credits and a first round of review for Operations credits was performed in December 2021. Again, necessary adjustments were made to the credits based on the comments provided by Karen. A second review of Operations credit was then completed.
