A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:

A professional development and training opportunity was offered in October 2021. A two-hour virtual course, "Introduction to sustainability at Concordia for employees", was created for Concordia faculty and staff who are interested in sustainability and want to learn more about it and how to advance sustainability at Concordia. The course provides details on resources available to the university community as well as highlights ways that faculty and staff can improve sustainability within their workplace.

Learning outcomes
After this course, participants will be able to:
-recognize and differentiate between different areas of sustainability
-describe the Sustainability Policy, Sustainability Action Plan and Sustainability Governance Framework at Concordia
-make use of and steer departmental colleagues to relevant sustainable resources and services at Concordia
-assess personal or departmental interest in becoming an Employee Sustainability Ambassador
