Criteria

Part 1

Institution has mentoring, counseling, peer support, academic support, or other programs in place to support underrepresented groups on campus.

This credit excludes programs to help build a diverse faculty throughout higher education, which are covered in PA 7: Support for Future Faculty Diversity.

Part 2

Institution has a discrimination response policy, program and/or team (or the equivalent) to respond to and support those who have experienced or witnessed a bias incident, act of discrimination or hate crime.

This credit applies to all institutions.

Institutions earn 1 point for meeting the criteria outlined above. Partial points are not available for Part 1 of this credit.
