All new construction and major renovations use the LEED principles as guidelines, which incorporates Low Impact Development practices. This is done even if no LEED certification is sought. In addition, in the specifications of construction projects, a Sediment and Erosion Management Plan is created which includes requirements for reducing water runoffs.
