A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
Data comes from the 2013 Concordia Commuter Habit Survey by the Institutional Planning & Analysis Office.
The 2013 Concordia Commuter Habit Survey was gathered online through the internal
Concordia University network of the Institutional Planning Office selecting a representative sample amongst students and employees of the university. The survey was designed based on previous Commuter Habit Survey at Concordia, Société de Transport de Montréal and the Agence Métropolitaine de Transport. The information was collected over the 2013 Fall semester over three consecutive weeks; it was launched on November 11, 2013 and closed on December 2, 2013, with two reminders sent on November 19 and 25.
