Research, best practices, and presentations are shared with local university unions, provincial associations of faculty and staff, and rector sharing bodies.

Concordia works with the Conférence des recteurs et des principaux des universités du Québec, the North-East Sustainability Coalition, the Sierra Youth Coalition Sustainable Campuses Project, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, and the Canadian University Business Officers.


A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

Quebec's university system is composed of rich exchanges between schools through a multi-layered set of institutions. Students cooperate through the Fédération étudiante universitaire du Québec, Fédération étudiante collégiale du Québec and L’Association pour une Solidarité Syndicale Étudiante. Other exchanges between English universities also take place at the individual level. Staff, faculty and administrators exchange information through the organizations listed above. Working with the local Eco Quartier and Eco Centre system, as well as individual and Faculty projects, students and others are involved in improving and bringing forward sustainability in downtown Montreal.
