As a public institution, the Request for Proposal (RFP) process (for purchases valued at over $100K) is governed by provincial and internal purchasing regulations which do not permit Concordia to give specific preference to any vendor.
However, since the process is public, it does give the opportunity to all vendors wishing to offer a proposal.
For smaller purchases, Concordia is always open to requesting pricing from different suppliers, including those who solicit interest in the institution.
In addition, suggestions which could serve to diversify Concordia's vendor base and promote competition are always welcome.
