The size of campus grounds that are maintained in accordance with a four-tiered IPM plan :
A brief description of the IPM plan(s) :
Grounds are continuously maintained by Facilities Operations Grounds personnel. The crew consists of eight members. From the end of August to the end of April three of the eight staff members are appointed to the sports complex to maintain the ice surfacehowever, the three members do participate in the snow removal operations during the months mentioned. Monitoring pests are performed visually while performing tasks such as grass cutting, raking leaves, planting flowers etc…No pesticides are used on campus by our crew. We have our own remedy when pests are infesting our trees and plants. Our remedy is part water, baking soda, soap and vinegar.
