A brief description of the technology used:
Timers are used for lighting and temperature at three buildings: the SP at Loyola and the EV and MB buildings downtown. The system uses a centralized motion sensor in almost all the rooms to indicate when unoccupied, leading the system to turn down the ventilation and turn off the lights. When possible, this system will be installed in new buildings and renovations of existing buildings
