Does the institution have a pre-consumer food waste composting program?:
Yes

A brief description of the pre-consumer food waste composting program:

Many of the campus food outlets currently participate in pre-consumer food waste composting. The student catering kitchens and the cafes belonging to the same food service provider that operates them (Chartwells) were the first to participate. The kitchen staff receive training from the R4 working group on what can be composted and follow-up education is provided when new chefs arrive. The food waste from these locations are brought to a centralized collection point on the downtown campus to be transported to the west campus, where the on-site composter is located.
