Sustainable Ambassadors are selected after applying to the posting listed on the Sustainable Concordia website and found in the newsletter. This is followed by an interview with a Sustainable Concordia board member and two other Sustainable Concordia coordinators.

New Sustainable Ambassadors receive guidance from existing Sustainable Concordia coordinators and are provided with reading documents that set out the expectations, best practices and training necessary for the position.

All operation expenses, including the Sustainable Ambassador Coordinator, are paid for by Concordia University's department of Environmental, Health & Safety.
