A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
During orientation, there is a portion of a day where students can choose to engage in a varety of activities. During this time, the Sustainability Office provides an activity where students take a trip to the campus garden, learn about campus sustainability, make t-shirt bags, and pot up plants propagated from the campus living wall. The activity is optional, but any student may attend if they choose to. The activity has definitely gained in popularity over the past couple years.
