A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Concordia College has identified courses that incorporate sustainability by completing an inventory, that involves distinguishing between sustainability-focused and sustainability-related courses. Class information and descriptions were collected from the course catalog. The Sustainability Coordinator and two faculty members evaluated a list of course offerings and used knowledge about the courses to determine which ones fit into the sustainability-focused and sustainability-inclusive categories. When the relationship to sustainability was unknown, but suspected, the Sustainability Coordinator reached out the course instructor to confirm the involvement of sustainability in the course.
