A brief description of the green building guidelines or policies and/or a list or sample of buildings covered:
Barry Auditorium
None
A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with green building design and construction guidelines and policies:
Barry Auditorium was constructed according to considerations in LEED for Building Design and Construction, v. 2009. Due to issues with connectivity to the Grant Center, difficulties defining building space given shared equipment and air-handling units, the space was not registered for LEED review and certification. An internal investigation and counting of applicable features and credits was conducted to ascertain an estimate of how the space might have fared under LEED certification. Although it is likely that the space may not have received LEED Silver, as the Grant Center did, it is in line with building practices equivalent with LEED Certified certification.
