A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :

Concordia College has identified courses that incorporate sustainability by completing an inventory, that involves distinguishing between sustainability-focused and sustainability-related courses. The original method used to complete the inventory involved reaching out to departments and faculty to provide an explanation of the sustainability, if any, in their course. The inventory survey was successful, as the results came in with numerous responses. However, in order to evaluate the information further, and to provide an update, an intensive evaluation of all courses offered at Concordia College was done through evaluation of the course catalog, with questions to specific faculty member instructors, as necessary.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
