A brief description of the farmers’ market:
Concordia College holds an annual 100-Mile Thanksgiving Farmers' Market the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
A wide variety of seasonal and organically grown foods - including squash, potatoes, pumpkins, honey, maple and fruit syrups, beans, and locally-made dips, chips, and breads - are available for purchase. Local turkeys are also available, by pre-order.
The 100-Mile Thanksgiving Farmers' Market is held in Concordia's atrium of the Knutson Campus Center, where hands-on wheat-grinding activities are available for children of all ages, and where live music is provided by Concordia students and staff.
