"Know Where to Throw" Roadshow

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

In an effort to change the culture of the University, the Environmental Stewardship office has created a traveling "road-show", where two members of the office travel to schools and departments on Columbia's campus with recycling bins and sample items, and host an interactive demonstration of the NYC recycling rules, and how to properly recycle on campus.
The program has been rolled out to over 300 people on campus, and continues to grow as news about the roadshow spreads. Additionally, this program has been built into the suggested actions of the new Sustainable Leaders Network (SLN) Workspace Certification program, which encourages even more individuals to attend a roadshow presentation.
