Jessica Prata, Assistant Vice President of Environmental Stewardship, presented at the AASHE Sustainability Professionals Retreat in 2017, in Pennsylvania. The retreat was designed for and by staff charged with leading institutional transformation for sustainability. Participants were immersed with 40-50 peers for three full days dedicated to advancing their University's vision, energy, capabilities and support system as a sustainability change agent.

Through the Ivy+ consortium, Columbia has fostered many relationships with other peer institutions, which has helped to provide best-practices and tools in putting together sustainability reports, strategic planning and benchmarking GHG emissions.
