Columbia does not have a central office that records the total number of hours of students who participate in community service. The information provided is an estimate based on a representative sample and the best available information.
Community Impact consists of a dedicated corps of about 950 CU student volunteers participating in 25 community service programs, which serve more than 8,000 people each year. An estimated 6,262 CU students participate in service learning courses per academic year. The total full time degree seeking student population is 6917.
