What is the institution’s current bicycle friendly award level? :
Platinum

A brief description of the institution’s bicycle program, including the year the award was achieved and/or renewed:

CSU achieved Platinum status from the League of American Bicyclists in fall 2015. In addition to having a Bike Master Plan, CSU received Platinum status for providing more than 18,000 bike parking places on campus, 11 stations for self-serve simple bike repairs, secure bike parking locations, creating a culture where 80% of all CSU students bring at least one bike to campus, sponsoring The Spoke (a bike repair and education living lab where student mechanics assist with free and low-cost maintenance to the campus community), providing extensive bike and pedestrian trails on campus, and investing in the Bicycle Education and Enforcement Program (BEEP) to ensure that the campus community is familiar with bike and alternative transportation routes and rules on campus. In fall 2019 CSU submitted our latest application to renew our Bike Friendly designation.
