The purpose of the CSU Campus Tree Care Plan is to set guidelines for the protection and maintenance of the campus’ urban forest, promote best management practices in tree care, reduce risks to public safety related to hazardous trees, and ensure a sustainable campus urban forest through species diversity and compliance with the Campus Master Plan framework.
