The EcoLeaders student educational group also takes an Eco Literacy survey at the beginning of their time and at the end of their service to follow up on how their knowledge has changed as they work to educate their peers.

The Eco Leaders survey was administered by staff from Housing and Dining.


A brief summary of results from the assessment:

The Eco Leaders have consistently showed increased performance on the literacy assessment every year the program has been in existence. In 2011 the Eco Leaders went from a class average of 64% to a 78% and in 2012 the Eco Leaders went from a 68% to a 76%.
