A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
Our student club EarthWorks has a large plot they work as part of the City of Golden's community garden. In the spring of 2020, we installed a greenhouse that is used by students and staff at Mines. They also partner with local high schools and middle school students in the area to use as a teaching tool. There are several outdoor plots next to the greenhouse that are open to community use.
