To determine the above figure, commencement programs from 2019, 2020, and 2021 were consulted. Graduates from the Master's degrees outlined below were summed to produce the number reported in this section.

Currently, only Master's programs at Mines offer programs that require an understanding of the concept of sustainability. These programs include the Master's degrees in Environmental Engineering Science, Natural Resources and Energy Policy, Humanitarian Engineering, and Advanced Energy Systems.
