A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

Colorado Mountain College does not have a main campus. The College consists of 8 community campuses, 3 residential campuses, Central Services offices, and the Glenwood Center location in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Community Campuses at Colorado Mountain College: CMC community campuses are smaller scale, commuter campuses that provide people of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity for mountain living and learning at an affordable price. Our vision lands strong here: to elevate the economic, social, cultural, and environmental vitality of our beautiful Rocky Mountain communities. Community Campus Locations:

  • Aspen -Breckenridge

  • Dillon -Carbondale

  • Glenwood Springs

  • Rifle

  • Salida

  • Vail Valley at Edwards

Residential Campuses: Full service residential campuses provide big-school opportunities with greater access that comes with a small school. Each of these campuses provides residence and dining halls, student recreation facilities, and libraries. They are surrounded by open space and endless adventures. Full-time students create opportunities for campus life activities. These campuses are also available for summer conferences. Residential Campus Locations:

  • Steamboat Springs

  • Leadville

  • Spring Valley at Glenwood Springs

Central Services: provides office space for core leadership and many shared functions at CMC.

Glenwood Center: provides classes for students and offices for CMC faculty and leadership.

Institution Type: CMC offers 8 bachelor's degrees and 52 associate degrees, which equates to 15.3% of degrees being bachelor's. This would qualify CMC as a baccalaureate institution.
