Please note that assured reports are still subject to review by AASHE staff prior to publication, which may require additional revisions. AASHE reserves the right to withhold points for this credit if it is determined that the assurance process was clearly unsuccessful in identifying and resolving inconsistencies or errors (e.g., when AASHE staff identify a significant number of issues that were either not mentioned in the completed review template or not resolved successfully).
Did the assurance process include internal review, an external audit, or both?:

A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
Staff of the Institutional Research Office at CMC have carefully reviewed all sections of the report and have sought clarification as necessary from the STARS Coordination and Implementation Team. They have checked the report for consistency and for potential data gathering and entry errors. Great care was taken by the IR team as they reviewed the fine details of all aspects of the report, and some errors and inconsistencies were identified that were remedied. The IR team describes the process flow of their review in their attached affirmation letter.
The AASHE STARS review template is attached. This file documents the two reviews undertaken by IR: the first review with comments provided and the second review done after the STARS team reviewed initial comments from IR and made necessary changes.
