A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
In new employee orientation, the Sustainability Director has a dedicated section of twenty minutes to discuss sustainability at Colorado College. New employees are acquainted with CC's definition of sustainability, the AASHE STARS report, and their role within the sustainability community, as every member of the CC community has a responsibility for sustainability.
CC Connect is an onboarding program for all new CC employees intended to familiarize new employees with the various offices and their functions as well as the goals and efforts of the institution at a summary level. One part of the onboarding process is focused on familiarizing new employees with sustainability goals and efforts at Colorado College so they can support the college's efforts in their own offices and through their work.
