A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Student employees at the Office of Sustainability (OOS) are hired to serve as peer educators to their fellow students. This group of students receives formal training and on-going mentorship through the Sustainability Coordinator. The student educators are engaged in the onboarding process for student volunteers that dedicate their time to specific teams in the OOS throughout the year engaging in a wide range of sustainability-focused programming, events, and campaigns. The Internship & Volunteer program is intended to provide opportunities for students to engage with sustainability at any point in their CC journey (the earlier, the better) and get students involved with educating their peers, promoting sustainability across campus.

The target audience are the student volunteers that agree to work with each of our teams led by student employees throughout the academic year. That team then hosts events throughout the year to engage the whole student body in sustainability.
