A brief description of the institution’s policies and programs to welcome, support, and protect asylum seekers, refugees, and/or undocumented immigrants:
The CC Refugee Alliance exists to connect CC students, faculty, and staff in meaningful ways with refugees and asylum seekers in Colorado Springs. We also participate in activist and advocacy campaigns to support immigrants in the Colorado Springs community as well as the larger immigrant community in the United States.

We partner with the Immigrant & Refugee Justice Coalition of the CC Collaborative for Community Engagement, connect individuals to volunteer through Lutheran Family Services to mentor and support refugees and asylum seekers in the US, provide ESL tutoring, attend workshops and events on issues relating to immigration, and support and partner with other community movements such as Colorado Springs Sanctuary Coalition, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC), and the Accompaniment and Sanctuary Coalition COS.

We are proud to support all students, regardless of US citizenship status who apply and are admitted to the college. Each year, we enroll at least 2 undocumented students at CC, with complete funding (100% of need met). This means their CC Financial Aid covers Room/Board + Tuition (Full Ride). These funds are allocated especially for undocumented students in our Financial Aid Budget and special funds.
