CC partnered with PikeRide, a city wide bike share program that allows CC students to use the bikes at no cost. This allows all students, regardless of financial aid or socioeconomic status, to save money and lower their footprint by using bikes.

Colorado College Sustainability Director Ian Johnson is a member of the Colorado Springs Office of Sustainability and serves as a member of the transportation subcommittee which works specifically on issues regarding the cost effectiveness of sustainable transportation options, the ecological impacts of transportation and ways to reduce them, access to transportation and sustainable transportation like biking, and issues surrounding public transit.

The Catamount Center is a school located near Woodland Park focused on environmental education. The Catamount Center and Colorado College have collaborated to create the TREE semester (Teaching and Research in Environmental Education), which is a semester-long program available to CC students to get a certificate in environmental education. CC Students work directly with local students to help educate the local community on environmental issues.
