A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
New Student Orientation includes Campus Sustainability Tours guided by Sustainability Office staff and upperclassmen volunteers.
In 2014, a two-hour "Sense of Place" programming will be added to New Student Orientation. The aim of the program is to foster understanding of local systems and a greater sense of stewardship within the CC community.
