The College of William and Mary is a public research university located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Founded by royal charter in 1693 by King William III and Queen Mary II of England, it is the second-oldest institution of higher education in the country. Its campus size is 1,200 acres.
Its total undergraduate enrollment in Fall of 2015 is 6,301. The college has more than 30 undergraduate programs and more than 10 graduate/professional degree programs. Some of its graduate schools such as law and education are highly ranked among all U.S. universities The college's ranking is National Universities-34 in the 2016 edition of Best College according to U.S. News and World Report.
